Kris Jenner’s TV Future Unclear, But Kanye Exclusive Helps

Kris Jenner’s talk show got a boost from an appearance by daughter Kim Kardashian’s baby daddy Kanye West this week.

While Kris Jenner and Kanye are rumored to have their ups and downs, the rap badass did his maybe future mother-in-law a solid by visiting her talk show and showing off exclusive pics of baby North West, called “Nori” by her family.

Yeezy was uncharacteristically docile and forgiving in the segment — and while the rapper is no stranger to strong emotion, he seemed a bit more tempered as he spoke of being a dad and his life with Kim.

Kanye’s has always been honest about his crushing grief after mom Donda passed away suddenly a few weeks back, and he admitted that finding Kim and having Nori gave him a bit of a second lease on life after his stunning loss.

‘Ye explains:

“After I lost my mother, there was times I felt like, I would put my life at risk. I felt like sometimes I didn’t have something to live for. Now I have two really special people to live for.”

But before there was Kimye, Kanye also says he admired Kris Jenner’s daughter from afar — he joked:

“There’s times when I wasn’t with [Kim], I wanted be with her so bad I thought about taking up sports.”

West also showed Jenner a bit of humility, explaining:

“The only thing I want to do in life is help people, and that’s what’s so disturbing about being written up in society as being some type of enemy. The last thing I would want to happen to my daughter is some crazy drunk black guy in a leather shirt to come up and cut her off at an awards show.”

According to THR, Kanye’s visit to Kris Jenner helped the show finish strong for the season — but a regular return commitment is still not a sure thing.
