Spike’s Video Games Awards list of nominees is out

Personally I can’t figure out why a cable network is doing an awards show for video games but I guess that those of us not living in basements of spending fortunes on man-caves aren’t meant to understand. However the yearly Spike Video Game Awards appear to be a pretty big deal and their list of nominees has hit the web.
