Laura Bell Bundy Is New ‘Sex Study Partner’ For Charlie Sheen

Laura Bell Bundy is taking over the role of Dr, Jordan Denby in the FX comedy series Anger Management.

Bundy,32, has performed on Broadway, on TV, and in movies. She received a Tony award nomination for her starring role in Legally Blonde: The Musical.

Two months ago, it was learned that the star of the show, Charlie Sheen 47, had been having problems with Selma Blair, who had been playing the part until then. According to a report in TMZ, Sheen threatened to walk out of the show if Blair,41, didn’t get fired.

Lionsgate, the company behind the series, said in June, “We are confirming that Selma Blair will not be returning to Anger Management and we wish her the very best.”

They have now revealed in a press release that Bundy would play the role of Sheen’s “new sex-study research partner.” They added that she was “a brilliant psychologist whose recent divorce, fondness for alcohol and wild mood swings turn Charlie’s life into an emotional roller coaster.”

Until August 1, there have been 40 episodes of Anger Management. Following the departure of Selma Blair, Lionsgate agreed to commit to a further 100 episodes for the FX network.

We have to assume that they are keeping their fingers crossed, hoping that Laura Bell Bundy will last that long with unpredictable Charlie Sheen.
