Ryan Seacrest To Host Million Second Quiz


Ryan Seacrest is set to host a new game show on NBC. It has been confirmed that Seacrest will host Million Second Quiz. The show will air between September 9 and 19.

As reported by USA Today, the show will air nightly in one hour live episodes. Contestants will compete for one million seconds. Auditions are scheduled throughout the month of August in Washington, D.C., Boston, Philadelphia, and New York City.

Secrest is excited about the opportunity. He states that the new game show is a “fun and different format that… will generate lots of fans across different platforms.”

The Million Second Quiz will be filmed in Manhattan. Contestants will spend the entire 12 days inside a three-story tall hourglass. Viewers will also have a chance to take part in the game from home.

Ryan Seacrest is a popular radio and television personality. He got his big break when he was chosen as host of American Idol in 2002.

As reported by Biography.com, Seacrest has hosted numerous celebrity shows and events. Last year, Seacrest signed a deal with NBC to appear on several programs, including the Today show, and the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Seacrest continues to expand his resume. He is credited with producing the popular Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Ryan Seacrest credits Csaey Kasem, Rick Dees, and Dick Clark, as his inspiration to become a television and radio personality.

The Million Second Quiz is expected to reward “the biggest prize in game show history.” Although the show will air in on-hour episodes. Live feed will be available the entire 12 days and nights.

According to NBC.com, the show will test contestants’ “knowledge, nerves, and endurance.” The remaining four contestants will be given an opportunity to stay in the hourglass structure for two additional weeks, for further competition.

Ryan Seacrest is named as executive producer and host of the Million Second Quiz.
