“The Wolverine” Extended Train Fight Scene [Video]

The Wolverine starring Hugh Jackman will debut on July 26, 2013, and, in the meantime, an extended train fight scene has dropped courtesy of Machinima.

In the scene, Wolverine arrives in modern day Japan where he is vulnerable for the very first time.

Watch as Wolverine is pushed to his limits both inside and outside of the passenger train.

The Wolverine is directed by James Mangold who is best known for his movies Girl, Interrupted and Walk the Line.

Personally, I can’t wait to see how a director who brings true emotional depth to his films can tackle the new X-Men based film.

Also starring in The Wolverine are Famke Janssen, Will Yun Lee, Brian Tee, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Hiroyuki Sanada, Rila Fukushima, Tao Okamotoa, and Hal Yamanouchi

Here is the officially released synopsis for The Wolverine:

“Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.”
