Katy Perry And John Mayer Get Back Together

The on again, off again romance between Katy Perry and John Mayer is heating up again, as the couple was spotted together once more.

The 28-year-old singer was seen grinning widely over the weekend in Los Angeles.

After the couple split up in March, Perry confessed to Vogue Magazine,

I still am madly in love with him. All I can say about that relationship is that he’s got a beautiful mind.”

“Beautiful mind, tortured soul. I do have to figure out why I am attracted to these broken birds.” she added of her ballad singer boyfriend.

Perry was last photographed with the seven-time Grammy winner on Monday. John walked the red carpet of the Friars Club Roast of Don Rickles on his own, but later came out from the Waldorf Astoria with Katy.

According to The Ralphie Radio Show, Katy Perry recorded a song with Mayer which will appear on his album Paradise Valley due out August 13.

John has had a reputation as a bad boy after having flings with some of Hollywood’s most eligible ladies including Taylor Swift, Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Love-Hewitt, and Minka Kelly.

“I was just a jerk,” Mayer told CBS’s Sunday Morning in February.

He added,

“It’s very liberating when you finally realize that it’s impossible to make everyone like you. I wanted everybody to like me. I thought I was one shuck and jive away in every direction.”

Katy Perry is slated to reprise her role as Smurfette character in Smurfs 2, which is due out July 31.

The sequel features voices from SofĂa Vergara, Neil Patrick Harris, Christina Ricci, Fred Armisen and George Lopez.

She is also ready to launch her fourth studio album of which she says,

‘It will be a much darker album than the previous one. It was inevitable, after what I went through. If I had a time machine and could go back in time, I would. But I can’t, so you’ll discover another part of me.”
