Kelly Clarkson is holding a free concert at the Fashion Mall at Keystone in Indianapolis on Saturday night. The 31-year-old is giving out the “freebie” in honor of Microsoft’s store grand opening in the mall earlier in the day.
The first 100 fans at the store’s opening received a ticket to the concert along with a ticket for a meet-and-greet with the popular star after the event. The next 1,000 fans also received a two free concert tickets.
It’s very rare for artists to hold free events, but it’s even more interesting that this performance will take place at a popular mall in Indianapolis. Microsoft is surely pulling out all the stops for their newest store’s unveiling.
Hundreds of fans are lining up to get a chance to see Clarkson’s live performance, which is expected to start around 8:00 p.m. and last over an hour.
This won’t be your average performance, but the show will go on and it’s success could lead to similar events in the future. Kelly Clarkson has always been great with her fans and giving back has been a top priority ever since she rose to stardom off American Idol in 2002.
The “rock idol” has even took to Twitter to share her excitement for the free concert which is set to take off later Saturday. Microsoft has also released plenty of information on the event, which you can find here on their Facebook page.
