Can you tell it’s November sweeps time? A Los Angeles television station just aired its, uh, “hard-hitting” news report on a product called “Betty” — described as “color for the hair down there.”

The story, shown on KTLA Prime News last week, gives you all the ins and outs of the apparently popular new salon treatment. The anchors’ and reporter’s demeanors, though, are the funniest thing of all. There seems to be an unstated sentiment of, “Really? We’re doing this?” all around.
