Blackberry Tablet Set For 2010 Release

The Blackberry Tablet was rumored a while back and then it fell off the face of the planet, now the “strictly companion” device with it’s 8.9″ display is expected to be released, sometime this year.

The device will rely on a Blackberry bluetooth connection or a built-in Wi-Fi radio sync to operate, which hopefully won’t mean the same fate as the huge mistake caused by the Palm Foleo, especially after BGR has said that RIM employees have voiced their frustration over this devices initiative.

There’s not a whole lot of details at this time, just that the tablet is expected in 2010, probably sometime in December.
