Paris Jackson Swatted: Police Rush To Family Home After Prank Gunshot Report

Paris Jackson and her family were the victims of a swatting prank today.

According to E! Online, police rushed to the Jackson family home after they received a prank call about gunshots being fired.

LAPD spokesperson Steve Whitmore said: “We went up to the house to check on something, but it was nothing. That house has had a lot of activity lately, so we sent a unit there.”

It’s unclear if Paris was home during the incident.

Paris Jackson recently attempted suicide and was taken to a hospital to receive medical help. Her guardian, grandmother Katherine Jackson, said that Michael’s only daughter was “physically fine” after the incident.

Katherine said: “Being a sensitive 15-year-old is difficult no matter who you are. It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you … Paris is physically fine and is getting appropriate medical attention. Please respect her privacy and the family’s privacy.”

The exact details about Paris’ suicide attempt aren’t known but several sources are reporting that the 15-year-old tried to cut her wrists over a Marilyn Manson concert. Jackson wasn’t allowed to go to the concert and reportedly “threw a fit” about it.

Since then, Manson has extended an invitation to Jackson and last night he dedicated the song “Disposable Teens” to Paris at his concert last night.
