Snoopy Makes His Vine Debut, 11 More Clips To Soon Follow

Khoa Phan has made a name for himself on Vine by creating some really cool and inventive stop-motion animations.

This week, Phan took his talents to the world of Charles Shultz and his Peanuts characters.

Phan inked a 12-Vine deal with Peanuts Worldwide to create a group of inventive Vine’s that would bring us back to the good old days of Charlie Brown.

In an interview with Mashable Cory Cole, social media director for Peanuts Worldwide reveals:

“It just made sense to start with Snoopy, everyone’s favorite beagle, and move on from there. Partnering with someone like Khoa in the social space keeps Peanuts relevant to new audiences.”

The first Vine features Snoopy sitting on top of his dog house as he writes a letter to his new Vine followers.

Following the first Vine 11 more will make their way onto the Twitter-owned service in the near future. The other Vine’s focus on Snoopy’s dog house, Linus’ blanket, Lucy’s psychiatry booth, Schroeder’s music, Woodstock, football, baseball, the Great Pumpkin, the kite-eating tree, and the Little-Red-Haired Girl.

Here’s the six second clip which is already receiving plenty of praise from Vine users:

The Vines are being used in part to promote the Peanuts 3D animated movie which is expected to reach theaters in 2015.

Phan is also expected to help celebrate the 40th anniversary of A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving in the fall.

Are you excited to see what a Vine series featuring more Peanuts characters will look like? Will you be heading out to see Peanuts 3D when it debuts in 2015?
