Megan Fox Debuts Hot Red Hair On Set Of ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’

Megan Fox showed off her new hot red hair on the set of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, making her transformation into reporter April O’Neil complete.

The actress was spotted on the set of the TMNT reboot Sunday with a subtle makeover to turn into the popular comic book friend of the ninja turtles. Wearing a maroon hoodie, Megan Fox and her red hair were spotted walking down Wall Street in New York City.

Megan’s casting as April O’Neil came as a bit of a surprise given her spotty history with director Michael Bay. The two got into a spat when Megan compared his directing style to Adolph Hitler.

But now Megan is on board, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is moving ahead quickly. Producers confirmed that Will Arnett joined the project, which is a live action/CGI hybrid. Pete Ploszek, Jeremy Howard, Noel Fisher, and Alan Ritchson have signed on to play the turtle heroes.

Michael Bay has also addressed concerns some fans had about the movie and its story. In his reboot, Bay explains that the turtles have alien origins, but said this is in line with the original story.

“It’s the ooze! It’s from the original source material, Bay said. “These are from the original writers, and I never went out to correct myself in the press. I do listen to the fans and I do want this to be authentic. I think they’re going to be really happy with this movie. When I see the digital stuff, the turtles look great.”

Fans who want to see the redhead Megan Fox on the big screen will still have to wait a while. The movie has a tentative release date of June 6, 2014, but had originally been slated to come out a few weeks earlier. It was moved so it would not compete with a Godzilla reboot released around the same time.
