Stripper Posts Picture Of Evening’s Tips, Is More Than Most Of Us Make In A Month

A stripper has posted an image of the money she makes in a single evening after people repeatedly asked her why she worked in the profession.

The photograph shows around $3,345 in mixed bills, which calculates to around $120,000 a year in tips alone. And that means that she is only working three shifts a month too.

The Reddit caption read, “From now on when people ask me why I’m a stripper, I’m just going to show them this picture (one day of work).”

The stripper, who is only known as Menagerii, says that her career has paid her way through an engineering degree at “one of the most prestigious public tech schools in the U.S.”

She also admitted that her particular shift was a double and lasted between 11.30am until 3.30am, and that it is “way more” than she usually works.

She added, “I typically make between $500 and $1,500 a night. Luckily that day I didn’t have to dance much. I probably only did about 30 or so table dances and five stage sets.”

The user also noted that she can work as often or as little as she wanted, and that it gives her plenty of time for other activities.

“I can skip out for three or fourth months straight and come back no questions asked,” she remarked, “As long as I didn’t gain wait.”

Menagerii even found time to talk about the taxes she pays, stating, “I claim all! … Most! … Some … A little bit … Dammit, I pay taxes! [sic]”

However she did admit that the strippers paid to work at the club, which is usually 10% of the tips and $45. “I worked two shifts that day so I paid $90 plus 10per cent,” and she then added that she put the rest of her money into a savings account.

Menagerii still had to react to critics of her lifestyle, but it feels like she had the final laugh.
