Rachel McAdams’ hair was colored a dark auburn shade of red, pulled into a long ponytail, and then smashed under a baseball cap for a day out to visit Disneyland with her folks and some friends. The new look for the usually blonde The Notebook star was casual and didn’t particularly play up her beautiful face, but it sounded like the 34-year-old McAdams needed a day off.
In February, she split with Michael Sheen after a two to three years long relationship with the stage actor who caught fire with Americans in the 1999 Broadway hit Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The breakup was so well-publicized that even a Toronto Raptors dinosaur mascot comforted her at a match the Canadian actress attended between the Washington Wizards and the Raptors.
With Rachel McAdams back on the market, there are also the usual rumors that her availability is putting a strain on the relationship Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling. Of course, McAdams has been linked for a long time to former fiancé Gosling. They were even born in the same London, Ontario hospital.
Be that as it may, Rachel McAdams’ hair has now turned red from sorrow, and it might have seemed like a good time for family day at the family-friendly Disneyland. She has often said that the strong relationship between her parents is an inspiration for her.
She told Elle magazine: “My parents are together and still in love. I’m very blessed that way. I had a great example of love in front of me, and that’s probably what makes me such a romantic.”
But be warned. While the newly red hair might be sorta OK, the sloppy jeans, cheap-looking shirt, and jacket don’t add up to an especially flattering look for her. What do you think of Rachel McAdams’ hair?
