‘Injustice: Gods Among Us’ Getting Mobile Game

Injustice: Gods Among Us is going to be getting a mobile game alongside the full console and PC game.

NetherRealm and Warner Bros. have been teasing details about the console game that is coming in April. At GDC, the companies let slip that a game for the Android and iOS formats would be coming along as well.

As of now, there haven’t been a whole lost of details revealed about the mobile version of the game. Almost all of the work being done to promote the title has been dedicated to the original full version.’

We do know that the full console version is going to have a ton of different super heroes and super villains from a ton of different time streams in the DC “multiverse.”

NetherRealm gave a brief demo of the mobile game at GDC and pointed out that it will be different from the console and PC version.

Just how much different or what will be different has not been revealed. Both companies seemed to want to tease the mobile version of the game without giving more details until it gets closer to launch.

Injustice: Gods Among Us on the mobile platform will be able to sync up in some way with the full version. The developers said that this will allow gamers to earn achievements in both games and unlock special additions like new skins.

NetherRealm Studios is using the same team that developed Batman: Arkham City Lockdown for mobile devices.

This means that at the very least the team that is putting the game together aren’t rookies when it comes to porting super hero games over to the iOS and Android formats.

The full game is due out on April 16 in the United States and April 19 in the UK on the PS3, the Xbox 360, and PC.

Injustice: Gods Among Us for the mobile platform will follow sometime thereafter.
