Rachel McAdams Is Consoled By Mascot After Split From Michael Sheen

Rachel McAdams decided to attend Monday night’s Toronto Raptors encounter at the Air Canada Centre only hours after it was announced she had split from Michael Sheen.

But it was nice to see that the 34-year-old actress was offered a shoulder to cry on, from an unlikely source, which came in the shape of the side’s dinosaur mascot.

The cuddly cheerleader handed her a kiss, a bouquet of roses and then a small toy of himself to help her get through this hard time.

The red-head beamed after she she was given the present and then she went on to enjoy the encounter between the Washington Wizards and the Raptors. However come the end of the match she wasn’t smiling anymore, as her home town team lost 90-84.

However, despite the news that the pair have split, an insider has revealed that it might only be temporary, and stated, “It’s likely not permanent.”

The duo met at a party in 2010 before they went on to work together on Woody Allen’s, Midnight In Paris.

In January 2012, she gushed about their romance to The Sunday Telegraph’sStella magazine, stating, “Michael and I didn’t get together while we were filming Midnight In Paris, which I feel strongly about not doing when I’m working. We became quite good friend, which i think is a great way to start.”

McAdams even revealed that the couple never spend more than three weeks apart, however despite these efforts they called it quits after just over two years together.
