This is one of the more strange holiday stories we’ve reported on this holiday season,  a man in Shanghai took 1000 Heineken bottles and molded them (placed them) into a Christmas tree design just in time for Christmas.

While the tree as SlipperyBrick points out, looks more like a pyramid than a Christmas tree but in any case it’s a pretty cool gesture, either that or a really good way to pawn your empty beer bottles off on the city of Shanghai

The display is currently sitting outside of the Nanjing mall, however it will be taken down shortly, so head on over if you happen to be in the Shanghai area.
