Britney Spears Given ‘Strict Rules’ For Las Vegas Residency

Britney Spears is getting ready to head to Las Vegas.

Before the singer begins her residency in Sin City, she has been given some “strict rules” to follow during her stay. Since the casino has a vested interest in Spears and her show, everyone wants to make sure the star is on her best behavior and in good health.

Entertainmentwise reports that Spears will not be allowed to gamble during her time at the casino. Sources are also suggesting that the singer won’t be able to bring anyone back to her suite once her performance has concluded.

As far as shopping is concerned, Britney Spears will be permitted to spend a little cash at the shops inside the casino. However, it’s being reported that the singer will have a limited amount of funds at her disposal during her stay.

An insider told InTouch Weekly:

“She has to have a handler or security with her at all times. She even has a curfew. They really are going to be monitoring her behavior and moods to make sure she is feeling okay and ready for the hard hours of work she needs to put in each night.”

It’s currently unclear which casino Britney Spears will call home in the near future. According to The Huffington Post, one location that’s out of the running is Caesar’s Palace. Although early rumors suggested Spears mind set up shop there, representatives from the casino have squashed speculation.

Public relations director Emily Wofford said the casino was “engaged with a number of today’s top artists in discussions regarding headlining residencies at our venues in Las Vegas.” Unfortunately for Spears, she isn’t one of the artists the casino is interested in hosting at the moment.
