Mario Lopez And Courtney Mazza Expecting Second Baby

Mario Lopez and wife Courtney Mazza are reportedly expecting their second baby.

The happy couple first broke the news to Extra. The announcement was soon followed by a surprise baby shower for Mazza

Lopez said of the news:

“I am the happiest father in the world. We cannot wait to welcome baby Lopez number two into our lives.”

Rumors about the pregnancy began to spread when the couple’s two-year-old daughter Gia was recently spotted wearing a “Big Sister Gia” shirt. The baby is reportedly due towards the end of this summer.

Mario Lopez and Courtney Mazza also confirmed the baby news with the folks at Us Weekly. The expectant mother said she was trying to get Gia involved with the pregnancy.

She explained to the website:

“We’re trying to explain it to her, so now she points at Courtney’s belly and says, ‘Baby baby!’ Once mama really starts popping out I think she’ll understand more. I can’t wait to expand the Lopez family!”

As for the cravings, Mazza said she is currently craving Cap’n Crunch cereal. However, she added that she was doing her best to keep things in moderation.

Mazza said:

“I’m in that stage where I can’t fit into my regular clothes anymore but I can’t fit into maternity clothes yet either. But I’m good, it’s all good!”

According to the New York Daily News, Mario Lopez and Courtney Mazza met while working in the Broadway production of A Chorus Line in 2008. The happy couple tied the knot in Mexico last year.

Mario Lopez and Courtney Mazza aren’t the only celebrity couple with a baby on the way. The Inquisitr previously reported earlier this month that Penelope Cruz is rumored to be pregnant with her second child. The actress is married to No Country for Old Men star Javier Bardem.
