Dog With ‘Human Face’ Up For Adoption In Indiana

A dog with a human face has been put up for adoption in Indiana.

According to Gawker, the poodle-Shih Tzu mix was sentenced to death at kill shelter in Kentucky. It’s unclear how the dog, named Tonik, ended up at the kill shelter but the good news is that he’s been moved from Kentucky to Indiana and is now up for adoption.

Petfinder writes:

“Tonik came to us from a kill shelter in Kentucky and there is a very sweet boy in there who is trying to figure things out and enjoy people. It seems he has not had too much socialization. He is great with other dogs. He is not dangerous, but should not be placed with young children because he will get too overwhelmed.”

Tonik may be a little anti-social but who wouldn’t love a dog with a human face?

If you want to adopt Tonik you can contact the Homeward Bound Animal Welfare Group here.

The shelter, who said that Tonik will have to be picked up in person, is looking for someone who can give Tonik a “forever home.”

Do you think Tonik has a “human face?”
