Well, This Is Awkward: Hugh Hefner’s New Wife Isn’t In His Will [Report]

Hugh Hefner’s new bride Crystal Hefner (née Harris) isn’t in Hef’s pre-existing will, but sources say that’s fine by her.

Crystal isn’t included in Hef’s standing will, meaning that if the 86-year-old Playboy mogul kicks the bucket, Harris only gets whatever was in the “ironclad” pre-nuptial agreement she signed before marrying him on December 31, reports MSN.

The 26-year-old Crystal, who was December 2009’s Playmate of the Month, won’t see a penny of Hefner’s $43 million fortune, which is promised to “his children, the University of Southern California film school and a variety of charities,” a US Weekly source says.

When Crystal Hefner was still Crystal Harris, she abruptly split up with Hefner in 2011, five days before their planned June wedding. Many media outlets could only speculate as to her reasons, but being left out of Hefner’s will and muscled into a tough pre-nup might have cooled those feet a little too much.

However, this seems to not be the case, according to comments made by Crystal herself. Days before their wedding, Crystal said of Hef that “Our relationship is better than ever. Things are perfect.”

Explaining why her first attempt at marrying Hefner didn’t go through, Crystal explained: “Last time it turned into a big ordeal and then it all fell apart. This time around is amazing. … I’m very happy and Hef’s very happy and we’re excited.”

The marriage is a first for Crystal, and Hefner’s third.

I guess even Hugh Hefner can marry for love alone. What do you think? Is Hugh Hefner’s new wife in love, naive, or something else? Sound off!
