Watch ‘The Real’ Awkwardly Discuss Tamar Braxton’s Divorce As They’re Blamed For Split

Tamar Braxton’s former friends and co-hosts on the daytime talk show The Real are throwing in their two cents regarding the star’s divorce from husband Vince Herbert, despite their nasty feud with Braxton that boiled over after she was fired from the show last year.

Despite all the bad blood that’s gone down between Tamar, Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon, Jeannie Mai, and Tamera Mowry-Housley, the ladies discussed the news that Braxton had officially filed for divorce from her husband of nine years during the show on October 25 amid reports claiming her leaving the show is to blame for their sad split.

Each of the daytime talk show’s hosts spoke out about the news on the series shortly after the divorce news broke as they said that they wished the Braxton Family Values star the best.

“Tamar, I know we’ve been through a lot on this show, and I understand that, but, you know what, we truly wish you the best, and we hope you get through this,” Loni said to her former friend during the broadcast, which airs live from Los Angeles.

As her co-hosts nodded, Jeannie, who announced earlier this week that she’s divorcing her husband of 10 years, Freddy Harteis, then added that she was left feeling heartbroken by the news of Braxton and Herbert’s divorce.

“When I heard this news, my heart really broke,” Jeannie said, “because I can only imagine what you guys are going through.”

Adrienne and Tamera, who were thought to be the closest with the star when they were on good terms, then agreed that they too were both wishing the star “the best.”

The Real co-hosts’ responses came amid reports that the show may be to blame for Tamar and Vince’s split after TMZ reported that being fired from the series in May 2016 may allegedly have been what kick-started her decision to file for divorce.

The outlet is alleging that Braxton was left feeling “depressed” after she was let go from the show almost a year and a half ago and claimed that the twosome’s marriage supposedly “suffered an irreparable fracture after going through a time of depression stemming from her firing.”

Vince also served as an executive producer on the daytime talk show for the first two seasons, but left with his wife last year.

Notably, there’s been serious beef between Tamar and her former co-hosts ever since she was fired – seemingly without warning – last year, as the singer has thrown a whole lot of shade in her former friends’ direction on multiple occasions.

The reality star even appeared to hint in December that her former co-hosts may actually have had something to do with her being fired when confirming that she was no longer on good terms with the hosts, though they’ve each denied the allegations.

And it was their nasty past feud and beef drama that had viewers calling out The Real ladies for discussing Braxton’s personal troubles on the show after their long and complicated history.

A number of social media users slammed Loni, Adrienne, Jeannie, and Tamera for discussing Tamar and Vince’s divorce, with some even calling them out as “fake.”

“@TheRealDaytime could’ve kept Tamar’s name out their mouths. Especially Loni,” one viewer wrote after seeing the ladies discussing their former friend on the series this week. “Y’all weren’t there for her when the s*** blew up. Don’t be NOW.”

“So you guys couldn’t speak on Tamar’s new album but felt it was ok to comment on her marriage?” another hit back at The Real hosts. “How inappropriate. And fake.”

TMZ first reported that Tamar filed for divorce from Vince on October 24, claiming that the twosome had had a “rollercoaster” relationship since they first started dating back in 2003 after being introduced by Braxton’s sister, Toni Braxton.

Via her rep, Tamar then issued a statement which confirmed she had made the “extremely difficult decision” to file for divorce from Vince just one month before what would have been their ninth wedding anniversary.

“Collectively, their son Logan and his wellbeing during this very unfortunate process is most important,” the statement added.
