Katt Williams: I Slapped Target Employee For Calling Me The N-Word

Katt Williams Target Slap

Remember the Katt Williams slap against a Target employee? Williams is now claiming that the employee used the N-word against him, which led to the attack.

Williams was performing at the Comedy Store in Hollywood on Wednesday night when he explained the November 25 attack to his audience:

“This is what the dude at Target said … ‘Your assistant is already suing you, you p**sy ass n***er.”

Katt Williams may have incorrectly acted if that was the case. His assistant is already suing him for $5 million for punching her. Now he’s admitting that he sometimes loses his temper and hits people.

Williams goes on to tell the crowd that he asked:

“Did you just say the n-word in front of Katt Williams?”

At which time the employee answered:

“You say it all the time.”

After warning the Target employee with “Say it again and see what happens,” Williams pounced.

So there you have it: Admission of guilt on behalf of Katt Williams. Should a lawsuit ensue, that should be an easy case of battery won on behalf of the recently fired Target employee. Target never explained why it fired Forrest Liebenberg. Perhaps he admitted to using the n-word against Katt Williams.

We may never know exactly what ensued during the conversation between the two men. What we do know is that Katt Williams is no stranger to run-ins with the law.

Do you think Katt Williams was justified in laying a smackdown on the Target employee if he really did call him the n-word?

if the employee said the n-word I think better action could have been taking , but the fact that Katt is who he is there was no other way this would have went down…

wasn't aware that you are allowed to put your hands on someone if they use the word "nigger" towards you. Then again, Katt Williams is a rich, successful black man. I guess he is allowed to do what ever he wants.

if katt called him a pussy ass cracker then yes it is entirely the point now isnt it. so youre telling me this target employee for NO REaSON called him the N word? So Katt walked up to the counter and the employee called him that for no reason….i doubt it…Yes its wrong either way to call someone a racist term but my point is this is not the whole story…

No I think the article implies that it's OK to use the n-word, and if someone hits you for it you can sue them. No wait.. you can sue anyone that assaults you. I'm not an actual lawyer, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
