Javi Marroquin is under fire on Instagram after sharing a photo of himself enjoying a bowl of frozen yogurt at Farrah Abraham’s FroYo store in Austin, Texas.
On Saturday, July 15, while visiting Austin from his home in Delaware, the Teen Mom 2 dad showed his support for his fellow MTV star on Instagram and right away, he faced backlash from fans who were confused about why he would choose to support her.
“Couldn’t be in Austin and not show some support and get some frozen yogurt. Told y’all I was coming,” Javi Marroquin wrote in the caption of his photo.
Immediately after Javi Marroquin’s photo was shared, fans flooded him with comments that labeled Abraham “rude” and said that MTV should get rid of her. Others said Abraham was a “devil” and a “witch.”
Although Javi Marroquin doesn’t seem to have acknowledged the backlash he’s received, his fans continue to weigh in on his post, claiming that the reality television star should pick one of the other women of the show to support. After all, according to one particular commenter, there are plenty other girls who have made a more positive impact on viewers than Abraham.
Farrah Abraham also has quite the troubled past with Javi Marroquin’s ex-wife, Kailyn Lowry.
As fans may recall, Farrah Abraham took aim at Javi Marroquin’s former wife months ago during an interview with The Dirty.
“Her look of being pregnant has been done and is old. Stop getting knocked up by randoms,” Abraham told the outlet after learning that Lowry was pregnant with her third child by a third man.
In other Javi Marroquin news, he recently went public with a new girlfriend on Instagram. However, as Radar Online confirmed last week, Lauren Comeau will not be featured on the upcoming season of Teen Mom 2.
As Javi Marroquin explained at the time, he and his new girlfriend don’t want to expose their relationship on television quite yet.
To see more of Javi Marroquin, Kailyn Lowry, and their co-stars, including Leah Messer, Jenelle Evans, Chelsea Houska, and Briana DeJesus, tune into the upcoming premiere of Teen Mom 2 Season 8 on Monday, July 17, at 9 p.m. on MTV.
