Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley are going strong ahead of her return to The Real Housewives of Orange County and in a new social media post, the cosmetics mogul and designer opened up about how they make things work.
Although Rossi and Smiley have yet to wed after becoming engaged during the eighth season of The Real Housewives of Orange County in 2013, they continue to enjoy their lives together as they ponder the next step in their relationship.
Along with several photos from their Fourth of July celebrations, Gretchen Rossi revealed a few of her secrets to a happy romance.
“Be with that someone who everyday you can wake up and celebrate life with! Through the good, or bad we always find a way to laugh and be grateful for each other no matter what!” she wrote on July 6, adding the hashtags, “secrets to a great relationship” and “laughter is the best medicine.”
Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley began dating years ago after Smiley split from their former co-star, Lauri Peterson, after a short-lived romance in 2008. Then, in 2013, while filming The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 8, Rossi proposed to her boyfriend on the top of the AT&T building in Los Angeles.
While Gretchen Rossi left The Real Housewives of Orange County after the show’s eighth season, she has continued to stay in touch with her co-stars and formed a close bond with her former nemesis, Vicki Gunvalson. In fact, according to a report by All About the Tea in April, Gunvalson is hoping Rossi will ultimately return to the show in a full-time role.
Weeks later, a Radar Online report suggested that Rossi had been brought back to the show for Season 12 to finish what she started with Tamra Judge years ago. As fans will recall, Rossi and Judge often butted heads on the show and now that Rossi is close to Gunvalson, the tension between them is likely at an all-time height.
To see more of Gretchen Rossi, Slade Smiley and their co-stars, including Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, Lydia McLaughlin, Shannon Beador, Meghan King Edmonds, Kelly Dodd, and Peggy Sulahian, tune into the upcoming premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County on Monday, July 10 at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV.
