Tommie Lee Addresses Rumors She Quit ‘Love & Hip Hop’: Is She Coming Back?

Tommie Lee has once again addressed rumors that she quit the Love & Hip Hop franchise after having insinuated that she could potentially be leaving the show to focus on other projects.

The reality star first made it known in May that there was a slight chance she would move on and leave reality TV behind, mainly because of how she’s been portrayed on the VH1 show, where she’s known to fight other cast members and have erratic outbursts.

Tommie Lee explained in her Facebook Live video, as reported by Hollywood Life, that though she’s faced some of her demons on the program that has made her seem like an outrageous villain, she also has a different side to her — it’s just that she’s often found in situations she usually wouldn’t put herself in.

As fans know, producers organize get-togethers for the cast, and since Tommie Lee doesn’t get along with many of them, it’s hard for her to keep her cool when she’s surrounded with people that she clearly doesn’t like.

With that said, Tommie Lee stresses that the VH1 platform has given her an opportunity not only to create a brand for herself but also provide for her children, mentioning that this is the first time in her life where she has stability and an exceptional amount of money coming in.

Telling her fans during the live video, Tommie Lee mentions that she went from stealing to actually having a job that pays her generously well, so to walk away from that would be difficult, particularly since she hasn’t figured out what she’d do or where she would go if she was to quit the show in its entirety.

Further rumors erupted, with some outlets claiming that producers wanted to fire Tommie Lee over her aggressive behavior that was making it difficult for cast members to shoot scenes with her, Wet Paint reports — particularly with Joseline Hernandez, whom she has been feuding with since the last series.

It’s an environment that becomes a struggle for the crew because they are aware additional security has to be on set whenever the two are placed in the same room together, and since Tommie Lee’s violent behavior isn’t anything new, it was rumored that the chances of her being fired seemed rather high.

Lee mentions that the cast has until September to let producers know whether they are interested in coming back, which then lets them decide who they want to return to the show.
