Joe Jonas Says He And Sophie Turner Are The Real Deal, And His Family Loves Her
Joe Jonas is happily dating “the female equivalent of him” – Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner.
There is no secret that the Starks treat their relationships and family affairs seriously. And Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark on the HBO hit show, may have adopted the best qualities from her iconic GoT character.
Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas may have been dating for a little more than half a year, but the lovebirds are the real deal now. In fact, so real that Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are even spending time with each other’s families.
The DNCE frontman fell head over heels for the Game of Thrones star, as a source close to Jonas tells People Magazine that the singer is “taking this relationship very seriously.”
The source also added that Sophie Turner is “different from other girls he has dated.” It’s unlikely Joe Jonas has ever dated one of the main stars of arguably the most popular TV series of this decade.
It doesn’t even seem to bother Joe Jonas that Sophie Turner stars in one of the most explicit shows in TV history, and one day she might even film nude or sexual scenes in the HBO nudity-friendly series.
But Joe Jonas, who himself is a prominent figure in the entertainment industry, apparently knows how draw a fine line between his work and personal life.
This was, by the way, one of the praises Sophie Turner showered her beau with during last month’s interview with InStyle, in which she said it’s “easier to date someone who understands the industry or is in that world.”
Sophie Turner, who turned 21-years-old earlier this year, spoke about how both she and Joe Jonas acknowledge the fact that they can’t see each other “all the time.” Besides, neither Turner, nor Jonas have to feel like “a jerk” in their relationship.
“You don’t feel like a jerk when you’re like, ‘My publicist says I can’t do this…'”
So that’s how things work out between Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner. In between filming scenes of fending off Baelish’s creepy sexual advances towards her character, the 21-year-old actress gets to have a normal private life with her boyfriend.
Just recently, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner were photographed hanging out with Joe’s younger brother, Nick Jonas, best known in the entertainment industry for his hit songs “Close” and “Chains.”
Nick Jonas is no stranger to third-wheeling with his brother and Sophie Turner, as the 24-year-old singer has previously been spotted on dinner dates with the lovebirds.
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner were spotted together for the first time last November at a concert in the Netherlands. The rumor mill had been churning ever since until the couple confirmed their relationship in January.
The duo has enjoyed multiple vacations around the world and even attended weddings together. But in what serves as a universally-accepted sign that the couple is the real deal is the fact that Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have spent quality time with each other’s families.

And the source cited by People Magazine says that Joe Jonas’ family “loves” Sophie Turner already, adding that the Game of Thrones star is “the female equivalent of him.”
Earlier this week, the lovebirds enjoyed a low-key night out in Hollywood. Sophie Turner sported an unusual for her look: a casual ensemble of a loose-fitted Puma sweatshirt, skinny jeans, and lace-up boots – a far cry from what her fans are used to seeing at glamorous red carpet events.
But partying, eating, vacationing, and spending quality time with each other’s families are not the only things Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner do together; as they also hit the gym together.
The Daily Mail reported earlier this week that the lovebirds were spotted venturing to the gym together.
