‘Teen Mom 2’ Kailyn Lowry Is Reportedly Hoping She And Her Baby Daddy Chris Lopez Will Get Back Togehter
Could Kailyn Lowry and Chris Lopez reconcile their relationship before their child’s upcoming birth?
According to a new report, the Teen Mom 2 star and her third baby daddy aren’t currently on speaking terms but Lowry allegedly wants Lopez to be involved with their child once he or she arrives.
“Things ended pretty badly with Chris [Lopez], so [he and Kailyn Lowry are] not even talking right now,” a source close to the reality star revealed to Hollywood Life on June 13.
The source said that Lopez hasn’t treated Lowry well in the months since their split and has even made it clear to her that he doesn’t want anything to do with their baby. That said, Lowry is reportedly hoping that Lopez will change his mind and get back together with her, at least as co-parents, once the baby arrives.
Kailyn Lowry is currently mom to two children, seven-year-old Isaac from her past relationship with Jo Rivera and three-year-old Lincoln from her marriage to Javi Marroquin.
Kailyn Lowry announced her pregnancy to her fans and followers in a blog post in February and revealed that she was no longer dating her third baby daddy on Twitter in the days that followed. She then kept Lopez’s identity a secret from fans until last month when she confirmed the swirling rumors regarding Lopez’s possible involvement.

Hollywood Life‘s report went on to reveal that while Kailyn Lowry may want to settle her differences with Chris Lopez, he doesn’t appear to be open to the idea at all. In fact in addition to blocking her to ensure that she cannot call or text him, he will reportedly be completely in the dark when their child arrives. As the outlet explained, he will likely learn the news online.
While Lopez does have a Twitter account, Kailyn Lowry told a fan weeks ago that she could not see his posts because he had blocked her.
Kailyn Lowry and her co-stars, including Jenelle Evans, Briana DeJesus, Chelsea Houska, and Leah Messer, are currently in production on the upcoming eighth season of Teen Mom 2.
