Rihanna & Chris Brown Reunion Unlikely To Happen Because Of Tell-All Film?

Rihanna and Chris Brown have always cared for each other despite their split and the controversial attack which happened in 2009. Their affection had sparked rumors that the exes are going to reunite soon, but that is now unlikely to happen. The 28-year-old singer revealed details of his assault on the 29-year-old pop diva in his new film, which reportedly upset her for bringing back their old drama.

“She never wants to be put in that position again, and she still carries pretty deep scars, as much as she tries to act otherwise,” an insider told Hollywood Life. “The experience itself was hugely traumatic, but the way it played out so publicly added yet further to the trauma.”

Rihanna reportedly wanted to be known as a strong and independent woman, but her ex-boyfriend’s documentary made her look weak and like a victim. She allegedly has struggled to get close to anyone and has acquired trust issues of men ever since that traumatic incident.

Skye Lyfe correspondent Dhavi Shira attended the VIP screening of Chris Brown: Welcome to My Life and revealed details of his relationship with Rihanna. The “Work” hitmaker initially didn’t take him seriously because she didn’t think he was ready. However, they end up officially dating when he said “I love you” to her. Based on the film, Rihanna and Chris kept their relationship a secret for eight months. When they made it public, he was reportedly ready to marry her. However, he doesn’t want to propose without being completely honest to her. So the “Loyal” singer admitted to his former girlfriend that he cheated on her with someone he worked with. The Grammy Award winner flipped out when she found out about it and that’s when their relationship got toxic, which led to the brutal assault.

Despite the attack, Breezy still tried getting back with Rih, but he revealed that she told him that she’s dating someone new and wanted him to leave her alone. That’s when he got into a relationship with Karrueche Tran whom he dated for a few years. Now that he is single again, Christopher Brown allegedly wanted to win back Robyn Fenty.

“Chris has never stopped loving Rihanna,” an insider told Hollywood Life. “He would reunite with her in a heartbeat.”

While the “Privacy” singer is enthusiastic about a possible reunion with the “Diamonds” hitmaker, she reportedly wanted to keep her distance from him. The Barbadian beauty still reportedly speaks with her ex-boyfriend, but not that often anymore because she wanted to remove him out of her system. It will be difficult for her to get into a new relationship, if she is still thinking of him.

Rihanna has dated Drake on and off for a couple of years and has been romantically linked to several men, but she never got into any serious relationship probably because of Breezy. Hollywood Life reported back in March that the exes have been texting and even sexting each other.

“Rih will never stop loving and caring about Chris,” a source revealed. “That was the true love of her life and he’ll always have a special place with her. They talk and text and she absolutely loves [his daughter] Royalty, especially talking to her on FaceTime with him.”

“Riri loves him and could see herself with him but he has to get rid of many of his unresolved issues,” their source added.

Since Rihanna still reportedly has feelings for Chris Brown, then a possibility of having a reunion is possible if she learns to forgive him for opening up about their relationship in his new film.
