Is Khloe Kardashian Engaged? Source Claims She Wants A Ring And A Baby From Boyfriend Tristan Thompson
Is Khloe Kardashian ready to take the next step in her relationship with boyfriend Tristan Thompson?
According to a new report, the 32-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is hoping for a ring from the Cleveland Cavaliers player, who she began dating last summer. In addition, Khloe Kardashian is said to be “desperate” to have a child.
“[Khloe Kardashian] has already talked to her doctors about every option imaginable,” a source close to the Kardashian family revealed to Radar Online on June 9. “She is willing to do IVF or whatever necessary, but Tristan really wants to wait!”
As fans may recall, Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson began dating one another shortly after he split from former girlfriend Jordy Craig. However, after Kardashian and Thompson’s relationship was revealed, so was Craig’s pregnancy. Months later, as Kardashian and Thompson’s romance continued, Craig gave birth to his first child.
While the start of their relationship may have come with hardships, Khloe Kardashian has since welcomed her boyfriend to her family’s reality show and during an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians Season 13, she could hardly contain her excitement about the romance.
Throughout their relationship, Khloe Kardashian has been extremely supportive of her boyfriend’s career in the NBA and is frequently seen at his games in Cleveland.
According to the Radar Online insider, Tristan Thompson wants to wait to have a baby with the reality star, but not necessarily because he isn’t ready for a second child. Instead, the source explained, the athlete wants to marry Khloe Kardashian before they start a family together.
“[Khloe Kardashian]’s friends believe that the reason she is pushing marriage so hard right now is so she can get what she really wants, which is a baby,” the source said. “She wants a child more than anything, and it could finally make her feel like she is up to par with her sisters.”
Khloe Kardashian has been married before but has no children of her own.
As fans will recall, Khloe Kardashian married Lamar Odom in 2009 and filed for divorce in December 2013 after months of rumors claiming Odom was using drugs and cheating on her. Although they later came back together after Odom’s October 2015 overdose, they never confirmed that their romance was back on and last summer, months before going public with Tristan Thompson, Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce from Odom for the second time.
News of Khloe Kardashian’s engagement dreams and baby wishes come months after another report suggested she and Thompson could be headed for marriage.
“When [Khloe Kardashian] falls in love, she falls hard and fast — and Tristan is no different,” a source told Hollywood Life in October. “She’s talking marriage and kids, and he’s not scared by it because they are well into the lovey-dovey phase. Everything is going really well! They’re addicted to each other!”
Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson went public with their relationship at the end of summer last year in Los Angeles and spent Labor Day Weekend together in Mexico. From there, the couple continued to be spotted together around the country and at one point, they traveled to Miami with Kardashian’s sisters, Kourtney and Kim.
While Khloe Kardashian isn’t engaged or pregnant yet, she’s made it clear both on her show and off that she wants to be a wife and mom eventually.
