The Real Housewives Of Orange County trailer was released on Monday, June 5, and in the first few seconds, fans are treated to an intense screaming match between the series’ returning cast members Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, and Shannon Beador.
Although the women aren’t seen in the first few moments of the sneak peek, their drama is evident as Gunvalson blasts her co-stars for painting her out to be a liar. Meanwhile, Beador is heard telling Gunvalson that she is “despicable” and vowing never to speak to her again.
As the preview clip continues, via People magazine, the ladies of The Real Housewives of Orange County are seen enjoying some fun times together as Kelly Dodd is seen chugging alcohol straight from the bottle and Judge is seen training with her husband, Eddie Judge. Then, at another point during the trailer, the women are spotted dressing like men and visiting a drag bar.
In addition to the returning wives of the show, including Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, Shannon Beador, Kelly Dodd, Meghan King Edmonds, and Lydia McLaughlin, fans will also meet a new cast member, Peggy Sulahian, who was brought to The Real Housewives of Orange County as a friend of McLaughlin.
“My lifestyle is extravagant,” Sulahian tells the cameras during a Bravo TV confessional. “Sure doesn’t suck to be me now, does it?”
As fans of The Real Housewives of Orange County may recall, Meghan King Edmonds brought Kelly Dodd to the show years ago, but during Season 12, the two women are at odds and at one point, Dodd criticizes Edmonds’ parenting, or lack thereof, when she tells her she should be taking care of her baby instead of worrying about the cast’s gossip.
During a scene that follows, Edmonds is seen breaking down during a chat with McLaughlin and crying about how Dodd labeled her a “bad mom.”
In addition to Edmonds’ feud with Dodd, Gunvalson’s feud with Beador is spotlighted, and after Beador opens up about her weight gain, she claims the issue has been caused by the stress Gunvalson has inflicted upon her.
As the sneak peek of The Real Housewives of Orange County concludes, the women are seen visiting Iceland where the drama between them, ironically, heats up even more and seemingly results in someone being hospitalized.
While Gretchen Rossi, who left The Real Housewives of Orange County after the show’s eighth season, appears in one of the scenes of the Season 12 trailer, she is not included in the full-time cast. As for why producers brought her back, a source last month claimed she was returning to re-address her drama with Tamra Judge.
“Gretchen Rossi is returning for [The Real Housewives of Orange County] Season 12 as a ‘friend’ and she has already filmed scenes with Vicki and Kelly,” a Bravo insider revealed to Radar Online. “Obviously Gretchen was brought back on to finish what she started with Tamra. With Vicki and Kelly by her side, she is more ready than ever to take Tamra down.”
“It’s unclear what Bravo is going to use and what they are not going to use at this time, but Gretchen seems to get along well with everyone she has filmed with so far,” the source continued. “Vicki is already pushing to bring her back as a full-time cast member for Season 13.”
