Kim Kardashian Throws Subtle Shade At Donald Trump And Evidence She’s Overhauling Her Public Image

Kim Kardashian seems to have found a new job for herself–that of a social activist. Kim has been endorsing a lot of social causes on Twitter lately.

Starting with backing the Paris Agreement by retweeting Elon Musk’s tweets, to urging fans to wear orange to support gun control, it looks like Kim Kardashian is looking for an alternative career as a social activist. Engaging in political dialogue also means Kim Kardashian is trying to overhaul her public image.

The Fox News reported that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star wants to “bring attention to the reality of gun violence and gun control” on the National Gun Violence Awareness Day.

In the process, Kim threw shade on Donald Trump. “In February of this year, President [Donald] Trump actually signed a bill revoking a regulation recommended by President [Barack] Obama that would have added 75,000 names of people with registered mental illnesses to a national background check database,” she adds. “This is Crazy!”

The Kardashian rues that the country hasn’t done enough to control gun violence. “In almost 20 years, our country has made very little progress in enacting laws that would help protect innocent Americans from people who should not have access to firearms,” she writes.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star also brought to notice the fact that the United States of America houses most civilians with guns. “Right now, there are more guns owned by civilians in this country than in any other country in the world.”

Of course, Kim Kardashian couldn’t keep her Paris robbery out of the picture. “After what happened to me in Paris, I know how important it is to be safe and to have armed security,” she explains.

Kim Kardashian goes on to say that her security team follows strict gun rules. “All of my security team is armed, but they also support stricter gun control laws and believe that we should restrict access to firearms for people with mental illness, anyone previously convicted of a misdemeanor, those who have been subject to a temporary restraining order and those at a higher risk of committing gun violence.”

It looks like Kim Kardashian is finally using her celebrity status for something good.

Kardashian says she fears people would be numbed by so many incidences of gun violence. “I hope that we won’t become numbed by the increasing number of gun-related tragedies we see on the news,” she writes in closing.

She goes on to say that feeling safe is everyone’s right. Kim Kardashian has two kids and said she wants a safe world for her kids. “We all have a voice and a right to feel safe, to be protected from people who are a threat, particularly when handed a deadly weapon. I want to help build a more safe future for my children and I believe together we can find ways to do that, while still protecting the rights of the American people.”

After the Paris robbery, Kim Kardashian seems to be working a lot on her public image. This is one of the reasons she posts plenty of pictures with her family. For instance, Kim posted a picture of herself in a bikini with her two kids. She captioned the picture: “Thank you to my babies for choosing me and allowing me to be your mom. You’ve given me a deep love I can’t explain. I’m always here to teach you and protect you! Thank you for making my Mothers Day so special!”.

The Inquisitr had also reported that Kim Kardashian’s pictures have been looking very retro lately and her fans don’t really know how that’s happening. It looks like there is a huge public image makeover in the process.
