‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Nikki Blasts Victor As Chelsea Tries To Rescue Chloe
Lives are in the balance on Wednesday, May 31 episode of The Young and The Restless. Not only may Chloe lose her life, but will Chelsea be able to rescue her. The last we saw was pills scattered around Chloe while she lay unconscious and cold. As Victor realizes that his plans have come undone, Nikki blasts Victor for making an even bigger mess as far as the Chloe drama is concerned. Spoilers indicate that after having found Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) on the floor with pills scattered all around her, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will go into panic mode. Chelsea will shake Chloe and beg her to wake up, but although impassioned pleas are often useful in soap operas, it is unlikely that Chloe will wake and that medical intervention will be required.
Chelsea will rightly wonder if Chloe tried to commit suicide or if someone gave the pills to Chloe in an attempt to cover their tracks, according to the Inquisitr.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers For Wednesday, May 31: Victor’s Plan Comes Crumbling Down
In the meantime, Nikki (Melody Scott Thomas) will grill Victor (Eric Braeden) about what is going on. Victor sees his plan is falling apart and tells Nikki what is happening. Nikki believes that Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Chelsea found Chloe, and she lashes out at Victor because he has made everything worse. Victor will make an attempt to see what can be fixed, but the cat is now out the bag, and everyone will just have to deal with the consequences thereof.

A family dinner is on the cards for the Abbotts. Dina (Marla Adams) has never been the motherly type, and this attempt at a reunion is feeble at best, and awkward at the least. The Young and The Restless spoilers for Wednesday, May 31 indicate that Ashley (Eileen Davidson), Jack (Peter Bergman), Dina, Traci (Beth Maitland) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) try to make the best of each other’s company for the meal.
Of course, The Young and The Restless fans know that Ashley has never had high expectations as far as her mother is concerned and thus, she doesn’t genuinely believe anything good will come from the dinner. Ashley believes that Dina has no intention of showing true remorse and making amends for all the drama she has caused her family.,
However, Dina has a lot to prove and tries to create an upbeat atmosphere by recounting amusing anecdotes of Jack and Ashley as children. The Young and The Restless spoilers reveal that Dina tells her captive audience that Jack and Ashley were always competitive, even with each other, and that it is impossible for a mother to forget certain things. The table indulges her as everyone tries to keep the peace in an awkward situation.
But The Young and The Restless fans can expect the evening to turn sour as the underlying tensions bubble to the surface; this is the Abbotts after all. Ashley and the rest of the gathering get into a heated exchange where they say what is on their minds, and everyone gets everything out in the open.

Jamey Giddens, co-owner of Daytime Confidential, tweeted that the role of Adam Newman is being recast, which begs the question as to how this particular Chloe storyline is going to play out. Spoilers indicate that Victor told Dr. Harris to get rid of Chloe, but before the doctor could kill her, Chelsea broke into his home. Victor paid Dr. Harris to release the mentally unstable Chloe. It was also Victor who helped Adam escape prison, and it’s the same Chloe who then allegedly murders Adam. So, Victor had a hand in killing his own son, Adam.

According to Soap Opera Spy, The Young and The Restless is about to take a new turn.
“The soap world allows for improbable, or impossible events to take place and then to be corrected based upon varying factors. That’s why the rumored Adam recast makes sense, as writing that critical character back into the frame would allow this open-ended storyline to be resolved.”
“Adam’s resurrection would also allow Chloe to remain viable, rather than imprisoned. As for Victor, he’ll surely remain an object of ongoing suspicion in the minds of many Genoa City residents regardless of what happens. But, he wouldn’t be seen as the person whose actions enabled his own son’s murder.”
