Kim Kardashian Quitting ‘KUWTK’? ‘Glam Masters’ Is Reportedly Her New Focus

Is Kim Kardashian quitting Keeping Up With the Kardashians? According to a new report, Kardashian is super excited to be working on her new show, Glam Masters, because she wants to “break free” from her family’s show on E!. According to Radar Online, the 36-year-old mother-of-two is looking forward to having her own show on the side and wants to have the success of her sisters, Kylie and Khloe, on an independent level.

“She’s really pushing it because she wants to do her own thing. Kylie has her own show, and Khloe has had two now,” a source told Radar Online. Kim is very successful in other areas of her life, but she is said to be putting this new gig front and center, hoping it does really well in the ratings department.

Glam Masters is a competition show that will be executive produced by Kim K. The show will cast makeup artists and beauty bloggers who will compete against each other to become part of Kim’s “glam squad.” Although the show is currently in the casting stages, a source tells Radar Online that Kardashian and crew will begin filming in July. If this is the case, the new show will likely air sometime in the fall.

The application process is no joke. Those wishing to apply are asked a series of questions like, “How would you describe your makeup philosophy or point of view?,” “What is your biggest insecurity?,” and “What is the one beauty product you cannot live without?”

In a longer statement, Kim expressed her excitement for the new show.

“I’m such a beauty junkie and am fascinated by how artists are able to transform someone’s look with makeup and couldn’t be more ecstatic for them to show what they can really do,” Kardashian said.

Kim Kardashian’s Glam Masters will air on Lifetime. The network released the following about the new show.

“Four lucky bloggers will go head-to-head on each week’s episode of Glam Masters. Only a few will make it to semi-finals and eventually finals, where one will become the Glam Master.”

Although Kim Kardashian has done a variety of things in her career, this reality competition show is definitely something new for her. Fans are excited to get to watch these people compete for a spot in Kim’s entourage, which is certainly an awesome gig to add to any resume.

It will be a good thing for Kim to tackle since she’s so into beauty and makeup. She is constantly coming up with new ways to make money and expand her empire, Kimojis, and selfie books to her mobile app game.

Based on the reports, it doesn’t sound like Kardashian will be quitting Keeping Up With the Kardashians anytime soon. She just seems to be adding more things to her overflowing plate.
