Who Is The Dad?

Lauren was married to her husband, William Tell, who is also the father. Tell is actually the second William Tell in his family, making him officially William Tell II. Tell was the rhythm guitarist for the alternative rock band Something Corporate from 2001 t0 2004. He was asked to fill in while the band’s founding rhythm guitarist, Reuben Hernandez, had quit to go study abroad. He was part of the band’s rise in popularity as they found success with the pop punk sound that dominated the early 2000s.

Tell left the band in 2004 to pursue a career as a solo artist. He released one solo album before heading to law school at USC Gould, where he earned his juris doctorate and works in entertainment law. He started at USC in the music industry program before heading to law school.

Tell and Conrad began dating in 2012 after they were set up on a blind date. After 20 months of dating, the pair were engaged in October of 2013. They married nearly a year later at a lavish ceremony on September 13, 2014. This child will be their first. The Hills alum announced her pregnancy via Instagram at the turn on the new year when she labeled a photo of her sonogram with “Happy New Year! I have a feeling 2017 is going to be the best year yet…”

Lauren recently released a list of names that she and her team love. For boys, the list is Carter, Jackson, Jasper, River, and Rowan. The list of girl’s names was equally eclectic, with Charlotte, Elle, Hazel, Sailor, and Sienna making the cut.

Lauren’s Rules On Pregnancy Etiquette

When it comes to dealing with a pregnant woman, Lauren offered up some basic etiquette rules for her friends and anyone else who deals with someone who is (or may be) pregnant on her website. As part of her continuing effort to teach etiquette and manners, Lauren added four rules to her “Ladylike Laws.”

The first rule is to never ask a married couple when they are going to have kids. You don’t know if someone is struggling with pregnancy issues, such as fertility problems or miscarriages. Probing questions can upset someone greatly in these cases. Wait for your friend or family member to bring up the topic, then you comment.

The second rule is to never ask when someone is due unless you are 100 percent sure they are pregnant. According to Lauren, there’s no bigger blow to a person’s self-confidence than asking them if they’re pregnant when they aren’t.

The penultimate rule is to not remark on the size of someone’s bump. The size of a woman’s belly or how she’s carrying her baby can be a self-conscious thing and commenting on it can be a sensitive issue.

And the last rule is to never touch a pregnant woman’s belly without asking. After all, personal space is still personal space, and it’s just uncouth to violate another person and grope their midsection. This rule applies even if you’re a close friend or family member; Lauren emphasizes that it doesn’t ever hurt to ask first.

Lauren hasn’t shared the exact due date, but it’s estimated that she is due soon, possibly having the baby at the end of May or in June.
