Lindsay Lohan Bank Accounts Seized By IRS

It just keeps getting worse for Lindsay Lohan. The former A-list star is facing some serious legal issues at the moment and according to her new report she may not have the money to fight the charges. The IRS has reportedly seized all of Lohan’s bank accounts in order to collect more than $200,000 in unpaid taxes.

TMZ reports that the government filed a tax liens against Lohan for taxes that were not paid in 2009 and 2010. According to the gossip site, Lohan owes more than $233,904 in unpaid federal taxes. The IRS has now seized her bank accounts in an effort to collect the money.

The Inquisitr reported last week that Lohan got some tax help from Charlie Sheen. The former Two And A Half Men actor reportedly gave Lohan $100,000 to help the actress with her tax problems. Sheen’s donation to the Help Lohan Fund covers nearly half of the money that the actress owes for 2009 and 2010 but Lohan reportedly still owes plenty of money for 2011.

It’s unclear what Lohan owes for 2011 but TMZ reports that the actress is in “full panic mode” about her financial situation.

Nicolas Cage, another actor with major tax problems, has been signing on for every movie he can in order to pay off his debt. (Cage’s debt was in the millions.) But Lohan may not have that luxury. The actress’s star has diminished over the years. She recently appeared in the widely panned TV movie Liz And Dick and will soon be starring in the low budget and extra-campy The Canyons. Lohan will also be starring in the latest installment in the Scary Movie franchise.
