Dad Uses Sexy Photos Of Daughter To Spice Up eBay Listing

How do you get more people interested in your car listing on eBay? Get your daughter to strike sexy poses next to the vehicle, of course!

According to Gawker, this is precisely the tactic used by Kim Ridley to get people talking about the car he was selling on the auction site. Accompanying the automobile in the photographs is his daughter Lexxa dressed in revealing shorts, high heel boots, and little else.

“If I felt bad about it, I wouldn’t do it,” Ridley told AdFreak after people started complaining about his salesmanship. “Girls and dogs attract people’s attention.”

The 20-year-old model in the photos for Ridley’s 1977 Datsun 280Z is his daughter, which makes the awkward images much more unsettling. Although most people wouldn’t bat an eyelash if a scantily clad woman appeared in an advertisement, it’s the fact that a father is using his own daughter to pimp his car that has people up in arms.

“Oh god that’s creepy,” one Gawker user wrote. “I thought from the headline it might be, y’know, product modeling in a pretty dress a la ‘The Price Is Right,’ but those are full-on Maxim style. In fact, Maxim might find them too blatant.”

The user added, “A dad shouldn’t think about his daughter this way.”

The dad’s pictures of his daughter posing around the car in question are more than a little revealing. One shot finds Lexxa bending over onto the car with her nearly nude rump pointed towards the camera. Another image is taken from the between her legs, her butt front and center for all to see.

Kim Ridley, however, doesn’t feel there’s anything wrong with using his scantily clad daughter to sell stuff. In fact, he explained that he often users Lexxa and her friends to “move product.”
