Jon Bon Jovi’s Daughter, Stephanie Bongiovi, Arrested After Suspected Heroin Overdose

Jon Bon Jovi’s daughter, Stephanie Rose Bongiovi, was arrested last night after she allegedly overdosed on heroin. Bongiovi survived the ordeal but was arrested, along with one other college student, and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.

According to WKTV, officers were called to the Duhnam Dorm at Hamilton College in New York at around 2 am after Bongiovi suffered an alleged overdose. The 19-year-old student was reportedly unresponsive when police arrived. The rocker’s daughter was taken to the hospital while officers obtained a search warrant and searched the dorm.

Police found heroin, marijuana and other drug paraphernalia on the scene.

TMZ reports that Bongiovi, 19, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana. Ian S. Grant, 21, was also arrested and will face the same charges.

Hamilton College released the following statement:

“In addition to violating state law, the actions alleged to have been committed by the students violate Hamilton College policy. The college is cooperating with the police investigation. Our first concern is always for the safety of our students. Out of respect for the privacy of our students and in accordance with federal regulations we do not discuss individual health or disciplinary matters.”

Stephanie Bongiovi was released from the hospital this morning and was ordered to appear in court at a later date. Bongiovi is Jon Bon Jovi’s oldest child and only daughter with wife Dorothea Hurley.
