Lohan To Be Charged With Obstruction Of Justice, Could Face Jail Time [Report]
Lindsay Lohan could soon be heading back to jail.
The young actress had a tumultuous summer filled with car crashes, jewelry theft and an occasional movie, and now she may be heading to prison. According to TMZ, Lohan will be charged with lying to police in relation to a car accident back in June.
According to the gossip site, Lohan was involved in a car accident in California in June. After the accident she told police officers that she was not the one driving the car. Multiple witnesses, however, said otherwise.
The case is expected to be filed later this week.
The obstruction of justice charge wouldn’t be that big of a deal if it wasn’t for the fact that Lohan is currently on probation. The troubled actress was charged with jewelry theft last year and may face a strict punishment if she is convicted of lying to the police.
Business Insider reports that the new charge could also cause police to look a little harder at a pile of pills that were found in Lohan’s trunk. At the time, Lohan’s lawyer showed that the pills were all legally prescribed.
Lohan’s recent legal troubles may be particularly hard to weather this time for the star since her publicist just quit.

This young lady has done nothing but try to work her butt off and become somebody! I don't understand why people want to see her go to jail–she is such a sweet little actress that tries harder than anybody else to do what is right…I sure hope the judge sees that sending her to jail with people that actually deserve to be there is the worst thing that could happen…It's not like she is a liar, a thief or a fraud…

im sorry but if it was anyone that wasnt a celebrity they would have already been in jail and they just keep prolonging it ,for her because s he is a celebrity ,mthe ones that think she is so sweet and innocent what if it was your mom, or dad or even your child that got hurt in her accident you would definitely look at it differently ,besides she will probably be like every other celebrity and get a few hours and then right back out on t he streets to do it again.So yes i think s he should go to jail for all of her crap if it will teach her a lesson and save someone even a childs life w ith her accidents and then lying saying she wasnt driving whatever

She is a liar, after the car accident she told the police it was someone else that was driving and she was under the influence of prescription drugs. This is by far not the only two examples of the legal run in's this child has been involved in.
