Limbaugh: This is Obama’s America, segregate buses

But it’s not about race is it?

We’re over that, right? Maybe not. In what is not an Onion article, right-wing blowhard Rush Limbaugh has suggested segregated buses in a baffling monologue about racism in America. Limbaugh was referring two a viral video in which two (count them, two) black kids beat up one white kid on a school bus. Like two kids beating up three kids isn’t going on all over the country on buses as I write this- this is clearly a terrifying incident of black empowerment that needs to be nipped in the bud. By segregating buses.

A caller referring to the incident described it as not racially motivated, and Limbaugh disagreed:

I think the guy’s wrong. I think not only it was racism, it was justifiable racism. I mean, that’s the lesson we’re being taught here today. Kid shouldn’t have been on the bus anyway. We need segregated buses — it was invading space and stuff. This is Obama’s America.

Of course, he didn’t stop there. He also tried to apply “left-wing” reasoning to the whole being racist thing, and came up with this gem:

If homosexuality being inborn is what makes it acceptable, why does racism being inborn not make racism acceptable? I’m sorry — I mean, this is the way my mind works. But apparently now we don’t choose racism, we just are racists. We are born that way. We don’t choose it. So shouldn’t it be acceptable, excuse — this is according to the way the left thinks about things.

Other highlights from Wednesday’s show? Kanye’s VMA stunt- also racially motivated. He was sticking up for his “sister.” Anyone who thinks that a lot of the Obama critique isn’t race based need only look at the quiet affirmative nodding that accompanies the rhetoric like this. I don’t doubt some people genuinely disagree that strongly with Obama’s policies, but every so often the mask slips, and the true face of the searing pundit anger, sobbing teabaggers, Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh is revealed. And it’s ugly.
