Hayden Christensen And Rachel Bilson Focus On Baby Not Movies Despite ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ Missing Anakin Skywalker

Hayden Christensen may want to take his family to see Rogue One: A Star Wars Story this week. The movie had a big opening this past weekend and seeing how he was Anakin Skywalker in the first batch of the prequels, it might be a fun walk down memory lane for him to watch it with his baby and Rachel Bilson.

The 35-year-old actor has been lying low ever since he became a dad, putting movies on hold as he starts a new phase in his life. But he was soon thrust into the curious public as Rogue One started to capture everyone’s imagination.

The new Star Wars movie now rates 84 percent fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, having gotten generally a good feedback from the critics.

“Rogue One draws deep on Star Wars mythology while breaking new narrative and aesthetic ground — and suggesting a bright blockbuster future for the franchise,” Rotten Tomatoes wrote on its Critics’ Consensus part.

Hayden may be feeling a bit FOMO (fear of missing out) that he was not included in the prequels. While not many characters were brought back, seeing how he is Anakin Skywalker, he might feel a little righteous in his FOMO.

But it looks like now Star Wars franchise is focusing on featuring female characters in its narratives and promotional posters. Last year, with Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the star of the show was Daisey Ridley, who showed off her cool action sequences with her ability to show her vulnerability.

This year, the lucky actress is Felicity Jones, who was singularly featured on many of the promotional material that went out for the movie. Check it out on Star Wars Twitter page.

With all the hype around Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Hayden Christensen is still keeping himself off the radar, his only movie projects coming up being Numb and First Kill, according to IMDb.

Last year, when Star Wars: The Force Awakens came out, Hayden gave a short interview that explained his lengthy time off from movies.

“You can’t take years off and not have it affect your career,” he said to MTV.

“But I don’t know — in a weird, sort of destructive way, there was something appealing about that to me. There was something in the back of my head that was like, ‘If this time away is gonna be damaging to my career, then so be it. If I can come back afterward and claw my way back in, then maybe I’ll feel like I earned it.'”

On the other hand, his baby mama Rachel Bilson has been using her Instagram and media outlets to keep herself in the limelight as much as possible. Check out a picture she posted with her crew on Instagram!

While her TV show Hart of Dixie is no longer shooting new episodes, she is highlighting her growing family as her priority.

“In an exclusive interview with E! News[…] we sat down with the actress and asked whether she and longtime partner Hayden Christensen are planning to expand their family,” E! Online reported.

To that, Rachel replied, “I think everything inside me is asleep at the moment.”

Seeing how her baby Briar Rose is just 2-years-old, she and Hayden must be working around the clock to make sure that her every need is met.

She didn’t miss the opportunity to give advice for to-be mothers. She said to “put your phone away and just spend time with your kid because it goes so fast when they’re little.”
