Derick Dillard Angers Fans With Use Of Jubilee Duggar Photos To Preach Pro-Life Stance
Derick Dillard is at it again. He had managed to spark controversy on social media without much effort. Jill Duggar is standing behind her husband, though, gushing about how amazing he is in a recent Instagram post. When the Dillards aren’t sparking controversy or causing fans to shudder, they are busy raising their son and working on their ministry efforts.
Recently, the topic of Jubilee Duggar was brought up because of the anniversary of her death. Derick Dillard and his wife, Jill Duggar, were the only two who had gone out of their way to acknowledge the life that was lost. Duggar shared a post on Instagram that showed photos of Jubilee’s little feet and hands at only 18 weeks gestation. She is considered a miscarriage, though some are referring to her as a stillborn.
According to the Hollywood Gossip, Derick Dillard is under fire for two things. One, he used the photos of Jubilee Duggar to further his pro-life stance, and two, he compared the child’s feet to his wife’s. The word “creepy” has shown up quite often in the tweets he received as responses.
It seems like Derick Dillard is quite happy when he remains in the spotlight. He has been doing odd things like this since entering into a courtship with Jill Duggar. Dillard has also been under fire for alleged misuse of mission donations. The couple has yet to address the speculation that they have been less than truthful, and there likely won’t be.
The notoriety that comes along with marrying into the Duggar family has affected Dillard. He isn’t the same person he was, and many have noticed it. Derick has been adamant about going back to El Salvador to finish their teachings, even though Jill isn’t too sure that is where she needs to be. The couple has remained united on the surface, though reports have indicated there is tension between them.
Now that the controversy is building, Derick Dillard is facing a lot more backlash. His poor choice of words and use of images have angered some of the most dedicated Duggar fans. Jubilee Duggar was a person, and the use of her tiny body to further his pro-life agenda has some people really upset. While he likely didn’t think ahead, he certainly managed to alienate himself. Jill Duggar caught a lot of backlash for sharing the photos as well, though that is fairly common with the way the Duggar women value life.
Both Derick Dillard and Jill Duggar will be a part of the new season of Counting On, which debuts in January. A lot of the footage will be shown from the prepping for Jinger’s wedding and the basis of Joy-Anna’s courtship. The Dillards were supposed to head back to the mission field following the Vuolo wedding but have decided to stick around for the holidays. It is unclear how long they will be around for after Christmas, but speculation is at least a few more weeks into the new year.
Rumors of another Dillard baby have been making their way through social media. It is no secret that Derick Dillard and Jill Duggar are planning to have more kids. They have been trying to have their second child with no luck. When Jessa announced her second pregnancy, it was apparent that Jill was surprised she wasn’t pregnant before her sister. There have been photos shown that appear to depict a baby belly on Duggar, but nothing has been confirmed. If Derick Dillard is to become a father once again, you can bet he would be screaming it from the rooftops and posting it on social media.
