Britney Spears Has Been ‘Swept Off Her Feet,’ Who’s Her New Man?

Britney Spears has been rocking at life as a single woman since she split from her most recent boyfriend Charlie Ebersol in 2014. Spears has been focusing on her sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston, as well as her career, which has involved an extended Vegas residency and dropping a new hit album.

The star, who recently celebrated her 35th birthday, has reportedly been quietly dating and has met a number of different men while getting back out there. Apparently Brit is now smitten with a new man, and sources say she has even been “swept off her feet.” The Hamilton Spectator shares the words of the source, who shares details about the supposed new flame, Sam Asghari, Spears’ personal trainer, who also appeared in one of her videos.

“She’s been quietly dating for the past year, but Sam is the first man she’s met who has swept her off her feet and she’s totally smitten. “Britney doesn’t want to go public with Sam until the boys have met him properly. Sam has been ensuring she sticks to her fitness regime and they have been working out together, so Britney credits him for keeping her in such great shape. She’s really happy and is hoping the tide has finally turned for her and that Sam can give her the fairytale ending she’s been longing for.”

Brit’s trainer and possible new man recently took to Instagram and shared a picture of himself and the hitmaker, but he quickly removed it, sources say, noting that Britney prefers to keep this romance quiet and low key for the sake of her two sons. Her boys are the loves of her life and she wants them to get to know Sam first before their relationship is made public knowledge.

There has been another mysterious bit of news about the “Toxic” singer. Spears recently has been in headlines as rumors about a collaboration between her and Christina Aguilera have begun to swirl. The two singers were at odds when they were both queens on the scene in the early 2000s. So it was surprising when a snap of a website showed details about a collaboration on one of Spears’ tracks. Us Weekly reported on the discovery that has since gone viral, but has yet to be verified as truth.

“Fans believe pop rivals Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera are teaming up for a duet after a fan posted a screenshot from a music-licensing website in which both divas are listed as performers on Spears’ track ‘Do You Wanna Come Over?’ from her ninth studio album, Glory, which was released back in August.”

Talk and excitement about the possible collaboration first began when Twitter user @TheChristinaVIP posted an image from APRA (Australian Performing Right Association) that had a song that is registered with the slate of co-writers, but also includes the names of Spears and Aguilera as the track vocalists. La Bouche, the 90s dance duo known best for their song “Be My Lover,” are also listed as performers, which would be a great complement to the former rivals.

The pop idols who stormed on the scene in the late 90s, after they each got their start on The Mickey Mouse Club, were naturally pitted against one another. Brit was praised for her stage presence and wowed with her dance moves as well as her catchy tracks while Aguilera drew fans in with powerhouse vocals. Since that point both pop stars have continued their success and have managed to maintain their audience into adulthood, while appealing to younger generations all the while. Perhaps this collaboration, if it happens, is a way to show that the feud is no more.
