‘Vanderpump Rules’ Brittany Cartwright Is Homesick Amid Weight Gain Backlash, Will She And Jax Taylor Get Married?

Brittany Cartwright is missing her home in Kentucky.

As she and Jax Taylor continue to battle back against allegations claiming he cheated on her during a recent appearance at a nightclub in Philadelphia, and against criticism over her recent weight gain, Brittany Cartwright has taken to Twitter where she’s shared a couple of personal posts with fans.

On December 8, Brittany Cartwright told her fans and followers, “I miss home,” and added a crying emoji. Days prior, she told fans she couldn’t wait to get back to Kentucky for Christmas.

Brittany Cartwright hails from Kentucky, but for nearly two years, she has been living in Los Angeles with her boyfriend, Jax Taylor.

After hitting it off with Taylor in Las Vegas in early 2015, Brittany Cartwright packed her belongings and drove to the west coast where she immediately moved in with Taylor and began working at a nearby Hooters restaurant. Now, as the couple stars alongside one another in Vanderpump Rules Season 5, she and Taylor have gotten a bigger apartment and she is now working with him as a waitress at SUR Restaurant, where the Bravo reality series is filmed.

Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor have been facing mean comments online since Vanderpump Rules Season 5 began due to Cartwright’s size. Ever since the new season began airing, fans have been wondering if Cartwright is pregnant — and they’ve confronted her about the idea on Twitter and Instagram.

While Brittany Cartwright has denied being pregnant to her fans and followers online, Taylor has come to her defense as well and told fans last month that if they continued to body shame on social media, he would have them blocked.

“Negative comments about myself or the cast I don’t care, you have no life and are looking for attention BUT…bullying, body shaming will not be tolerated I will block you and blast your comments and have your account shut down, my friends work at Instagram and are huge fans of our show, so please…. TRY ME!!! You have been warned,” Taylor wrote in a post on his Instagram account.

Taylor also disabled comments on the photos which featured both him and Brittany Cartwright.

In other Brittany Cartwright news, the reality star and her boyfriend, Jax Taylor, could soon become engaged. While Taylor had previously said he was not open to the idea of marriage, he has since had a change of heart, which he dished on during an interview the The Daily Dish at the end of last month.

“Before [Brittany Cartwright] I was not about marriage. It was not going to happen for me. I didn’t believe in marriage. Not because I didn’t love Brittany, I just didn’t believe in marriage. It just wasn’t for me,” he explained. “As time progresses, I’m starting to open my mind about it a little bit more because I do love her and that’s something she wants. And I’m willing to bring the idea back. We’ll see. I just hate divorce. I hate it. I’ve done a lot of things in my life, it’s just kind of the one box I don’t want to check off that I’ve done.”

“[Brittany Cartwright]’s just an amazing girl. I love her to death. She’s just so sweet, so kind. She has a lot of patience,” he added.

Brittany Cartwright has not yet reacted to Taylor’s recent comments about a potential marriage but during an episode of the series’ fourth season, she spoke of her desire to one day be married with children.
