Could Kate Gosselin’s Son Be In Trouble? Facility That Collin Is Staying In Accused Of Letting Patients Escape

Kate Gosselin’s son Collin is not living at home right now and is instead living somewhere that his mom feels is the best place for him. Now, Radar Online is sharing that Kate Gosselin’s son could allegedly be in trouble at this facility because of some information they have discovered. Right now, Kate’s 12-year-old son is in a Philadelphia-area center getting help for his special needs.

It turns out that the place where Kate Gosselin has placed her son has been in a bit of trouble over the years. This facility has reportedly had several lawsuits filed against them due to allegedly letting sick patients escape. Of course, Kate would never want something to happen to her son.

Back in 2011, it was reported that a family accused the center of letting their son leave the facility while under the car. He reportedly received injuries while he was gone as well. The man had a lacerated neck and rib, but police were finally able to find him. Another lawsuit says that the facility is understaffed and that there was a physical altercation between two patients during a group meeting. Both of these lawsuits were settled outside of court, and the details aren’t currently available.

Kate Gosselin has made it very clear that she feels like she is doing the right thing by placing Collin in this facility. You have to wonder if Kate knew about these lawsuits when choosing to put Collin here. It has been reported that Kate Gosselin placed Collin here to get help with his anger issues. She has revealed that he is in a home but hasn’t shared the details. Collin won’t appear on this season of Kate Plus 8. Since he isn’t living at home, he wasn’t there to film the show.

Fox News shared that Kate Gosselin was recently on Good Morning America, where she shared a few details about what was going on with Collin. Kate simply said that Collin was enrolled in a program to help him with his “special needs,” but she didn’t share details about what those needs are that made it difficult for her to take care of Collin on her own. Kate explained she didn’t have a choice and went on to share details.

“It was on the advice of the doctors and it had to happen. He is plotting along and we are too. It definitely was necessary, and I’ll go to the ends of the earth for the best for each of them. This was the best thing I can do for him right now and that comforts me.”

However, Kate Gosselin said that they have contact with Collin, but of course, it isn’t the same as him being at home with them all the time. Kate’s ex-husband, Jon, even said that he doesn’t know where his son is at.

Kate explained, “We are both court ordered not to speak about the care and custody of our children in detail. I’ve known all along where [Collin] is, but the world doesn’t know, and I’ll leave it at that.”

Jon is planning to do all that he can to find out exactly where his son is at and get more details. Kate and Jon have had their issues ever since their big split years ago.
