‘Vampire Diaries’ Season 8, Episode 6: Hunting Seline And Sybil — Caroline Forbids Stefan From Joining Search For Twins On ‘TVD’ [Spoilers]

The Vampire Diaries Season 8 has been on a break for Thanksgiving. Tomorrow night, The CW series finally returns with Episode 6, titled “Detoured On Some Random Backwoods Path To Hell.” What can fans expect from Stefan (Paul Wesley), Damon (Ian Somerhalder), Caroline (Candice King), and the other characters? Based on the synopsis, promo clips, and sneak peeks, Alaric (Matt Davis) and Caroline will have the police searching for Seline (Kristen Gutoskie) and Sybil (Nathalie Kelley). Also, Caroline forbids Stefan from joining the search because of her plans to kill Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder).

On the last episode of The Vampire Diaries, Seline took Alaric and Caroline’s twins. They are now missing, which has sent everyone, especially Caroline Forbes, into a panic. Determined to find the twins before it is too late, the police are called. In a sneak peek, Caroline provides authorities not only with a photo of Seline with the twins, but also a sketch of Sybil. When she tells them that Seline and Sybil are “sort of sisters,” a police officer wants an explanation. However, Caroline doesn’t have time to waste and asks the officer if they are going to distribute the photos or not.

In a second sneak peek posted by Spoilers Guide, it seems that “Steroline” are not agreeing on something. Caroline forbids Stefan from going with her and Alaric to search for the twins. They know that Damon Salvatore is with Sybil on The Vampire Diaries, who has reunited with her siren sister, Seline. Caroline angrily tells Stefan Salvatore that he cannot come with them because if Damon gets between her and the twins, she will kill him.

What else can TVD fans expect in the episode titled “Detoured On Some Random Backwoods Path To Hell?” As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the synopsis for The Vampire Diaries Season 8, Episode 6, was released by The CW network.

“When her children become the focus of the Siren’s latest plan, Caroline takes drastic measures to ensure nothing gets in the way of keeping her family safe. In a race against the clock, Stefan pledges to do everything he can to save the twins, while tensions between Alaric and Caroline boil over, leading them to face some harsh realities about the future of their family. Meanwhile, when Enzo (Michael Malarkey) finds himself unable to fight off Sybil’s latest move, Stefan dives into his subconscious and along the way, sets off a chain of events that leaves him faced with a life-changing decision.”

A promo clip for The Vampire Diaries Season 8, Episode 6, reveals that Seline and Sybil will have the twins meet Cade, who is the devil. It isn’t known why the little girls are there. However, there is a theory that Seline and Sybil might be trying to negotiate a deal. Could they try to free themselves from their agreement with Cade by offering the twins in their place? Or is something else going on?

Will Alaric and Caroline find Seline, Sybil, and the twins before it is too late? What could the devil want with the children and does it have something to do with releasing Seline and Sybil from their contracts? What kind of life-changing decision will Stefan Salvatore have to make? Can Bonnie Bennett (Kat Graham) save Enzo from Sybil once again, or will it be too late? TVD fans will have to keep watching to find out.
