Will Leah Messer Have A New Boyfriend During ‘Teen Mom 2’ Season 8? Plus, Get An Update On Corey Simms And Jeremy Calvert
Leah Messer and the cast of Teen Mom 2, including Jenelle Evans, Chelsea Houska, and Kailyn Lowry, are returning to MTV for Season 8, and as they prepare for their upcoming new episodes, fans are wondering what they’ve been up to since Season 7 came to an end earlier this year.
During the trailer for the upcoming Teen Mom 2 season, Messer’s youngest daughter, Adalynn, is seen discussing the idea of having a boyfriend when Messer asks, “Does mommy need a boyfriend?”
In response, Adalynn yells, “Yeah!”
However, the Teen Mom 2 star appears to be completely single at the moment and not ready to date.
Leah Messer’s love life has been a hot topic throughout Teen Mom 2‘s run, but last year, despite rumors of a long-term relationship with T.R. Dues, who was said to have lived with her for several months, the reality star chose to keep her relationship off Teen Mom 2 entirely. In fact, she didn’t even mention his name during filming.
Meanwhile, the Teen Mom 2 star’s former husbands have been more open about their personal lives on the show and off.
Although Corey Simms, Messer’s first husband, hasn’t been very active on his social media pages in recent months, his wife, Miranda Simms, has frequently shared photos of his twins, Ali and Aleeah, 6, and their youngest child, Remington Monroe Simms, 1, who was born just over a year ago two months before her due date.

In a tweet to fans earlier this month, Miranda wrote, “This time last year Remi was still in NICU. Hard to believe our beautiful & smart 1 yr old was ever 8 weeks premature.”
Weeks later, the Teen Mom 2 star shared a photo of Remington posing with her older sisters on Halloween.

Teen Mom 2 couple Corey Simms and Leah Messer were married for just months before a cheating admission by Messer ended their relationship and led to a divorce in 2011. Then, less than one year later, in April 2012, Messer married Jeremy Calvert and welcomed a baby with the pipe engineer less than one year after that. Meanwhile, Simms had begun dating Miranda, and in June 2013, they tied the knot.
Following the end of Calvert’s marriage to the Teen Mom 2 star in late 2014, he embarked on a romance with Brooke Wehr, and during the sixth season of Teen Mom 2, he spoke of meeting someone new and moving on from his ex-wife.
Although Calvert and Wehr briefly split at the end of 2015, they were confirmed to be back together in early 2016 and during Teen Mom 2 Season 7, Wehr made her reality television debut alongside her boyfriend.
Following filming on Teen Mom 2 Season 7, Calvert and Wehr took a trip to Ocean City, Maryland with his daughter, Adalynn, and her daughter, Makenna, and during their family vacation, Calvert proposed. Since then, the Teen Mom 2 couple has been seemingly going strong as they continue to live as a family.
While Wehr’s Instagram account is kept private from fans, Calvert’s account is public, and he frequently shares photos of himself, his daughter, and his fiancée with fans. In one of Calvert’s latest posts on Instagram, the Teen Mom 2 dad revealed he and Wehr had recently launched a new website.
“Our site is up! Check it out now and share the product launch with us. Don’t forget to subscribe too so we can update you on all things CalvertWehr!” Calvert wrote in the caption of a flyer for the site.
