Courtney Stodden Makes Plea To SeaWorld: ‘Let Corky Go Home’

Courtney Stodden previously suffered a miscarriage back in July. The reality star has since taken to social media to open up to her fans about the tragedy.

Courtney Stodden has teamed up with PETA for its new campaign about a captive orca whale in SeaWorld. In the new video, Stodden, 22, said that she can relate to it on a deeper level, reports Us Weekly.

“The feeling of losing a child is one that no mother should ever have to experience,” Stodden said in the video. “That’s why it breaks my heart to think of Corky – an orca who has lost all seven of her babies, the last of whom was found floating lifeless at the bottom of a tank at SeaWorld.”

The video, which was released on Tuesday, November 29, was filmed after Stodden’s miscarriage, and the emotion in her eyes and the pain in her voice is evident. Check out the rest of Stodden’s emotional video below.

In the video, Stodden pleads with SeaWorld, asking the theme park to retire Corky and release her in a safe environment where the orca whale can swim freely with other mammals.

“SeaWorld, take it from someone who has experienced great personal loss. Corky has suffered enough,” the starlet stated. “Please, do the right thing and let her go home. The time is now.”

Stodden has collaborated with PETA in the past. She’s appeared at various red carpet events and has advocated for the non-profit organization. Earlier this month, Stodden made divorce rumors swirl when she was spotted with a mysterious man. The photo in question has fans wondering if Stodden split from 56-year-old husband Doug Hutchison.

The blonde bombshell posted a cozy photo of herself with a mystery man on her social media account, according to the Sun. Stodden hinted in the caption that the two could be more than friends with her caption, “Hot couple alert.” In the photo, seen below, Stodden and the man lean their heads together as the model shows off her cleavage.

Stodden is still married to Doug Hutchison, but fans want to know if they’re still together. It turns out that Stodden’s new friend is a 21-year-old man named Kris Sanchez, according to the Daily Star. Some fans are well aware that Stodden is not Sanchez’s type.

“Are you not married anymore?” one wrote while another asked, “What about Doug!?!?!?”

“Lmao y’all Kris is gay,” one responded to the comments, while another added, “Omg. He’s gay. You guys are too funny.”

Stodden later edited the caption to include “kris is a dear friend. Not dating lol.”

Still, Stodden has some wondering if she and Hutchison are headed for another split. She has since been spotted making out with DJ Doris Carabetta and Trisha Paytas. Stodden rarely shares photos of herself with Hutchison on her social media accounts. Instead, she shares sexy selfies and photos of herself partying with her friends.

Back in September, she admitted on the Allegedly podcast that their marriage is at “crossroads” after her miscarriage.

“I think when a couple faces a difficult trial in life together, whatever that may be, it either tears you apart or brings you together. I think right now we’re kind of crossroad point where we’re trying to figure it out.”

Stodden and Hutchison split for a year in 2012 before they reunited the following year. Their split led the couple to appear on VH1’s Couples Therapy. The couple just renewed their vows earlier this year in Hollywood.

Both the aspiring actress and the former actor were distraught when Stodden miscarried her first baby over the summer.

“Please respect their privacy as the couple try to cope with losing their precious baby and seek the support they need,” Stodden’s manager told the media.
