‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brenda’s Return To Port Charles Suggested By Cryptic Tweet?

There’s a ton of General Hospital spoilers to uncover since the Thanksgiving episode left some loose strings for some characters of Port Charles. As we know, this wasn’t the best holiday for Alexis, as she spent some time thinking about a previous Thanksgiving with Julian. After she had revealed to her guests that her suspension would be dropped if she stayed out of trouble, the guests toasted to Alexis.

Except that celebratory moment didn’t last for too long, as Alexis received a text from Julian. Alexis was so distracted by thoughts of Julian that she managed to drop a bowl of whipped cream. When she offered to go back out to get some, she raised suspicions of her guests, because she was out for a long time. As it turns out, she wound up making a pit stop at the bar. That’s where Julian finds her drinking alone at the bar.

Despite Alexis’ troubles, there’s a particular General Hospital spoiler that has everyone talking. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, actress Vanessa Marcil may come back once again to reprise her role as Brenda. Of course, this has fans hoping for a Brenda and Sonny reunion, as this couple has years and years of history together. The couple was going strong in the 90s and reunited in 2002 and once again in 2010 and in 2013, so if Marcil comes back to General Hospital, there’s a good chance we may see Brenda and Sonny reignite their flame.

While Sonny and Brenda have been on-and-off for years, this would be a significant development for Sonny. It would be the perfect time for Brenda to come back now that Sonny and Carly are living apart from each other. If Brenda turns up, this could mean even more trouble for super power couple Sonny and Carly.

General Hospital spoilers suggest that Brenda is coming back after actress Vanessa Marcil made a cryptic statement on her Twitter page which linked back to her Instagram. The tweets stated “Big news coming..” and “We are coming home.” Fans of the long-running soap know that even though Marcil had other acting jobs, General Hospital was always her first home.

If she does come back, the set-up that’s happening right now is pretty epic. As we know, Carly is currently being tempted by Jax. Spoilers suggest that Carly will eventually have to admit to Sonny that she kissed Jax, which means, she could be distracted as Brenda makes her way back into the arms of Sonny, who will probably be heartbroken by the revelation.

Of course, General Hospital spoilers isn’t the only news tip that suggested a return by Vanessa Marcil. Back in August, actor Maurice Benard, might have hinted that Sonny’s other half, could return to the soap. Benard, who plays Sonny, went back and forth with Marcil on Twitter. The actress drove fans crazy with a jokingly suggestive tweet, “Poor guy…..So in love with Me. I mean Brenda…..”

Benard pushed it even further by posting a video of himself, saying he was “done with her.” At the time, it was believed that their back and forth with each other more than hinted that Brenda would make her way back to Port Charles.
