Miley Cyrus Siblings: Miley Isn’t The Only Talented Cyrus Sibling
You can’t get too far without reading a rumor or story about Miley Cyrus. The question is – how much do you know about the siblings of Miley Cyrus?
While there is little denying Miley is the most famous of her siblings, talent does run in the Cyrus family. Miley Cyrus is actually the proud sister of five siblings, and they may be just as talented as she is.
Brandi Glenn Cyrus
Brandi Cyrus is the oldest of the Cyrus siblings. She is Miley’s 28-year-old maternal half-sister. Their father, Billy Ray Cyrus, adopted Brandi after he married her mother. Brandi is focused on acting and her latest show was called The Queue.
Trace Cyrus
Trace Cyrus is Miley’s half-brother. An interesting tidbit about this Cyrus sibling is the fact that he once dated his sister’s best friend Demi Lovato. The relationship, however, did not last very long.
Christopher Cody Cyrus
Christopher Cody Cyrus is Miley’s half-brother. He is only eight months older than his famous Cyrus sibling. Kristin Luckey, his mother, was a waitress during a brief relationship with Miley’s father. It wasn’t until after the relationship with Billy had ended that she found out she was pregnant with his child. By the time she found out, Billy had already moved on with Tish – his current wife.
Unfortunately, Christopher Cyrus does not have much of a relationship with his other Cyrus siblings. In fact, he has only seen his sister a handful of times. He is, however, reportedly a fan of her.
Miley Cyrus
Technically, Miley comes next in the timeline of the Cyrus siblings. Did you know she was born under the name Destiny Hope Cyrus? Her parents affectionately called her “Smiley” because of how happy she was when she was a baby. Later, her name was shortened to “Miley.” It was not until 2008 that she legally had it changed.
Braison Cyrus
Braison Cyrus is Miley’s 21-year-old younger brother. He made his debut as a model back in 2012 when he was just 18-years-old. He is currently signed as a model with Wilhelmina Models. Before his big career break in modeling, he did have a role as a background actor in his older sister’s show, Hannah Montana.
According to Bustle, one bizarre tidbit of information about Braison was that he once dated his sister Miley’s boyfriend’s sister. Basically, this means Miley was dating Patrick Schwarzenegger and her brother Braison was dating Patrick’s sister Christina. As you can see in the Instagram picture below, Braison and his sister also share sibling tattoos.
Noah Cyrus
According to Contact Music, Noah Cyrus – the 16-year-old sister of Miley – recently made headlines for recruiting Labrinth to help her launch her music career. Noah is rumored to have earned more than $350,000 as a singer. Though, she is also rumored to have recently signed to contracts totaling to be work nearly $400,000. Could Noah be following in the footsteps of her famous sister?
Billy Ray Cyrus
While he isn’t technically one of the Cyrus siblings, Billy Ray is responsible for creating Miley and all of her siblings. According to BuzzFeed, he married his current wife Tish in 1993 and proceeded to have three children with her Destiny Hope (Miley), Braison Chance, and Noah Lindsey.
According to Movie Pilot, Miley has always been very open about how much she loves her family and her siblings.
